The 500 Ultra Teardrop is Camp-Inn’s more traditional design. The body lines are simpler and more in keeping with
the styling of the early home-built teardrop trailers from the 30’s and 40’s. Vintage trailers typically had only a single
side door and did not trouble with the complexity of adding front windows. In honor of the teardrop’s historical origins,
Camp-Inn’s 500 Line echoes back to those simpler times.
While, from the outside, the 500 Ultra looks back to the past, inside it's a different story. Built with the same materials
and workmanship of our 550 and 560 Models, the 500 can be configured with all the modern amenities that early teardroppers could
not have imagined. Air conditioning, furnace, TV/DVD players, electric water pumps just to name a few. These are in addition
to the standard Ultra amenities of two burner stove, sink, stainless countertops, ample storage in the cabin and kitchen,
stainless steel fenders, and an all aluminum exterior.
Of course, you can get the simpler versions too if you are more of a purist. Check out our 500 Base and 500 Special if that
is more your style.
