Camp-Inn builds most of its trailers to order. This means that trailers are built for a specific customer to match their personal order. This method allows each customer to get all the Options and Accessories they want, without getting any they don't want. A trailer build is not started until after the order is received. Camp-Inn usually schedules trailer builds, several months in advance. The backlog may vary from as little as 3 months to a year or more, depending on demand. Once a trailer build is started, it takes approximately 6-8 weeks to complete. Contact Camp-Inn by phone or e-mail to find out our current backlong and how soon your trailer could be built. Camp-Inn occasionally has stock trailers on hand. If you are in a rush to get your teardrop trailer sooner, contact Camp-Inn to find out if there are any stock models available. Some Options and Accessories may be added to these stock trailers even after they are built. If, after you have placed your order, you decide that you would like to change some Option or Feature of your trailer, contact Camp-Inn as soon as possible with the requested changes. If Camp-Inn has not started building your trailer, just about everything can be changed. On the other hand, once your trailer build has been started, the changes may or may not be made, depending on how much of the trailer has been built. For example, Air Conditioning and Furnace are two of the Options that are set early in the build cycle. Other Options like the Door Screens or Alcan Cover can be added at any time, even after the trailer is complete. If you are even considering changing any Option or Feature, contact Camp-Inn to discuss the possibility of making the change. If you discuss a change in person or by phone, you must send an email confirming the change in writing. Most of our customers come to the factory to pick up their trailer. If you consider the cost of shipping the trailer is about equal to the expenses of driving to pick it up yourself, you can consider it an expenses paid trip. Enjoy a trip to Wisconsin and take a leasurely trip back home, camping in your new trailer along the way. Many customers use picking up the trailer as a starting point for a trip even further from home. If you are unable to pick up your trailer, we ship nationwide and can deliver your trailer straight to you. We usually ship trailers by semi-truck multi-car haulers. We also contract with independent haulers that haul one or more trailers at a time. Camp-Inn does charge a fee for adding a special protective wrap for all trailers that are shipped. Shipping charges vary depending on the time of year, gas prices, and availability. Shipping charges can change weekly and sometimes daily. Camp-Inn can not quote you a firm price for shipping until a week or two before your trailer is shipped. If you would like an estimate on shipping charges, send an email with your delivery address, and we will send you an estimate of the current shipping pricing to your area. If you pick up your travel trailer at the Camp-Inn facility in Necedah, Wisconsin, you will be required to pay 5.5% Wisconsin Sales tax. If your home state charges more than 5.5% sales tax, you will be required to pay the difference to your home state when you register your trailer. Camp-Inn is not required to charge Wisconsin sales tax to trailers delivered out of the state of Wisconsin. If you have your trailer shipped to you, you will not pay Wisconsin sales tax, but will still pay the full amount of sales tax your home state requires. If your state does not charge sales tax, but you want to come to Wisconsin for a trailer orientation, you can avoid paying Wisconsin sales tax by having Camp-Inn deliver your trailer to the state line. Camp-Inn charges a delivery fee for this service, but it is significantly less than the sales tax. Go to our Warranty Page (click here) to review your trailer's warranty. Due to the custom nature of this product, Camp-Inn requires a 30% down payment due at the time of order. The down payment is payable by credit card or check. Payment of the down payment locks in your purchase price for the travel trailer under the terms of the Purchase Contract. The down payment is normally non-refundable. The down payment may be wholly or partially refunded, under extenuating circumstances, at Camp-Inn's discretion. See "Canceling Your Order" section below. If you decide to cancel your order contact Camp-Inn as soon as possible. Under extenuating circumstances, Camp-Inn may allow the cancellation and refund part or all of your down payment. If Camp-Inn does not allow cancellation of your order, Camp-Inn will continue building the trailer. Upon completion, Camp-Inn will list the trailer online, using Ebay and teardrop discussion forums, to attempt to sell the trailer. If the trailer sells for full price, you will be refunded your full deposit, minus any listing or selling fees. You will be given the option of discounting the sale price to speed the sale. If you discount the sale price, your refund will be decreased by the same amount. We handle it this way, because of the custom nature of Camp-Inn trailers. If you have chosen a less popular selection of options, the trailer may be more difficult to sell to the general public. Purchase OptionsIf you place your order online, your order will be immediately added to the next available build. This locks in your position in the build order. An email will be emailed to you showing your order. This email will be your "Quote". Camp-Inn will review your order and send you an email, the next business day, confirming your order. Camp-Inn will send you a purchase contract for your review. Returning a signed purchase contract within 14 days will lock in your purchase price, per the terms of the purchase contract. If the signed purchase contract is not returned within the 14 days, the prices may be subject to change or your order may be canceled. The purchase contract will detail the terms of your trailer purchase. If you agree to the terms, simply sign the contract and mail it back to us. At that point, your order is official! Then comes the hard part...waiting for your trailer to be built. Your order is not Official, and your trailer will not be started, until the signed purchase contract is returned. Your Down Payment and Convienence fee will be processed using Paypal service. A 3.6% convienence fee will be charged for processing the down payment using this service. If you cancel your order, this convienence fee may not be refunded. To avoid paying the 3.6% convienence fee, send your order using the "Email Order" option on the Ordering page. If you decide to cancel your order, prior to returning your signed Purchase Contract, notify Camp-Inn by email or letter and your credit card payment will be canceled within 5 business days of Camp-Inn receiving notification. Processing by Paypal and your credit card company may take additional time. If there are any differences between this web page and the Purchase Contract, the Purchase Contract will be used. On the next section of this web page, you will have the option of selecting "Email Order" for your ordering method. Selecting this option, your order will be emailed automatically to you and to Camp-Inn when you press the "Confirm Order" button. This email will be your "Quote" and prices shown will be good for 30 days from the date of the email. Camp-Inn will review your order and send you an email, the next business day, confirming your order. If you do not have any questions or special requests, Camp-Inn will send you a purchase contract for your review. The purchase contract will detail the terms of your trailer purchase. If you agree to the terms, simply sign the contract and mail it, along with a down payment check, back to Camp-Inn. Upon Camp-Inn's reciept of the signed purchase contract and down payment check, your trailer will be assigned the next slot in our build order. At that point, your order is Official! You can pay for the down payment by personal check, cashier's check, bank check, or money order. If the signed purchase contract is not returned within the quote period, the prices may be subject to change or your order may be canceled. Your order is not Official, and your trailer will not be started, until the signed purchase contract and a check for the down payment is mailed to Camp-Inn. If there are any differences between this web page and the Purchase Contract, the Purchase Contract will be used. You can visit us and place your order in person, or if you choose to place your order by phone, simply call us and we will take your order personally. How you wish to pay the down payment, will determine how your order is handled. You can pay by credit card over the phone and the same rules will apply as "Ordering Online." Or, if you wish to pay by check, your order will be handled similar to the "Email Order" option. You can pay for the down payment by Personal check, cashier's check, bank check, or money order. Your order is not Official, and your trailer will not be started, until the signed purchase contract and a check for the down payment is returned. Once your trailer build is complete, you will be notified about making your final payment. You can pay the final payment by Personal check, cashier's check, bank check, wire transfer or money order. If you want to make the final payment by credit card, a processing fee will be added. Once your trailer is built, you will be expected to insure it, even if you haven't picked it up. If you do not want to carry insurance on your completed trailer, you will be asked to sign a waiver of liability. Camp-Inn will store your completed trailer for up to 60 days with no storage fees, as long as your trailer is paid for in full and insured. If your trailer build is completed between October and April, it will be stored until the end of April with no storage charges as long as the trailer is paid in full and you provide proof of insurance. Most states do not require your trailer to be registered or licensed until you bring it into your home state. Most states give a 15-30 day grace period for registration. Check with your local DMV to find out your state's requirements. If you are planning an extended trip, with your trailer, before returning home, contact Camp-Inn about how to get your trailer registered before you pick it up. If there are any differences between this web page and the Purchase Contract, the Purchase Contract will be used.
